As well as performance, Serena often works in text/audio, both in conjunction with a physical practice, but also as a medium in its own right. She is interested in the spatialising power of text, and how a written practice can hold a similar energetic state to improvising, possessing a driven, imaginative physicality which is arguably connected to a spatial practice.
