Echoing Over and Over Again in the Quiet Chambers

Installation created from found objects recovered from a series of abandoned and ransacked cargo train carriages. The carriages are internally destroyed almost beyond repair, but even in the darkest places and most difficult jobs, the works speak to our desire to create “home” in whatever situation we find ourselves in. The markings of time are preserved throughout where they paused indefinitely, marked in years, days and seconds, questioning what happens to our presence when we are no longer part of a functioning system.
